A note from our founder

I started Letterdrop after struggling to grow a prior business myself as a technical founder.

Since then, I've really dug into the underpinnings of GTM and learned how the game was changing. The predictable revenue playbook of old where you can just increase outbound, headcount, and activity, and expect a linear increase in pipeline doesn't hold. There's diminishing marginal returns to it. It's harder than ever to get a cold email read or connect via call. Buyers are also inundated with outreach and frankly exhausted.

At the root of what is still working is being authentic, helpful, educational, and thoughtful. People buy from people and "business development" is really about building relationships to do business. But it's hard to scale... until now.
